PRE-LISTING INSPECTIONS
When you make the decision to sell your home, you want everything to go as seamlessly as possible. A pre-listing inspection will give you a fair evaluation of the condition of your home and it's major systems. Sellers can expect less conditional offers or 11th-hour renegotiations after buyers get their own inspection. Sell your home more quickly, more easily, and for more money with a pre-listing inspection.
NEW HOME INSPECTIONS
Building a new home is complex, and involves many different trades. These subcontractors all have different requirements for their schedules, permits and inspections. It is nearly impossible for the builder to carefully check all phases of construction. Even the best builders will likely miss something. A new home inspection can help address any potential defects before problems arise.
I use the Horizon report writing system to provide high quality reports with photos and illustrations, and guarantee electronic delivery on the same day as your inspection.

The fee for your home inspection is based entirely on square footage. I do not charge extra charge for a home with a suite, or for homes over a certain age, etc. I always include the use of a thermal imaging camera along side a sub surface moisture meter, and a functional check of all installed appliances. I've always believed in doing my best work, and I don't believe in up-charging you to get that level of service.

ABOUT ME
My dad always said that I spent the first two years of my life covered in drywall dust. That probably isn't acceptable by today's standards, but hey, it was the early eighties. It wouldn't be much of a stretch to say that real estate and construction has been in my blood ever since. I grew up helping my mom and dad renovate houses, and when I bought my first house, I immediately started with my own renovations. Since then, I've bought and sold a number of properties, all of which required substantial upgrades. I've worked on a number of different construction projects, including building my own house now as an owner/builder.
I took this background knowledge and experience and applied it while enrolled in Carson Dunlop's Home Inspection Training Program. After graduating, I joined the Home Inspector's Association of BC, where I completed my practical training before becoming licensed by Consumer Protection BC.
When not working, or working on my own projects, I enjoy spending time on the lakes and in the mountains around BC. I volunteered in my rural community as a firefighter and first responder, and now I sit on the organizing committee with MotionBall for Special Olympics Kelowna.
